Dr. Peter Kaufman was a sociologist at SUNY–New Paltz who lost his battle with cancer in November 2018. Choosing to share the experience with others in a variety of contexts, his blog and interviews are curated and linked here by the university where he worked for 19 years.
His book, Teaching with Compassion: An Educator’s Oath to Teach from the Heart (co-authored with Janine Schipper, Rowman & Littlefield, 2018), is reviewed by Brian Obach in this issue.
